Backed Lamb Chops with Potatoes


4 lamb chops

4 medium size Yukon gold potatoes, washed, peeled, and wedged

7 gloves garlic peeled and diced


¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

¼ teaspoon turmeric

¼ teaspoon oregano

¼ teaspoon Mrs. Dash


Preheat the oven to 375F degrees. Arrange the lamb chops, garlic, and potatoes in a greased baking pan. Combine all dried spices and mix well. Sprinkle the spice mix all over the lamb chops and potatoes. Add 3 cups of water cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 min. Uncover and bake for 7 more minutes. Check if the potatoes are cooked through-soft and the lamb is done measuring 160F with a baking thermometer. When is done let it rest for few minutes.
